Leica Fotografie International ( LFI ) Gallery
If subscribe into LFI membership, we can upload photos taken with any Leica camera, while it is allowed that even 3rd party lens is admitted. The photos are saved in “My Gallery” Then if want, we can challenge into Leica Master Shot. It’s a photo contest, which you can try everyday. Then if editor and jury judge your photo is excellent, your photo is exhibit in Selection pages. Then if they judge yours are very best in class , it’s awarded as “Leica Master Shot”. Yes, I’ve tried about 3 years since I purchased Leica M11 Monochrome at Leica Store Kyoto. However no “Selection”, no “Leica Master Shot”. I agree the result until now. Because the quality of photography in LFI-Selection and Leica Master Shot are really excellent. I studied from such excellent photos getting new inspirations and ideas. Anyway, in my case, till now, “My Gallery” has been merely photo garage only for me, although actually it is convenient to use as base photos for my blog, editing with Lr and Ps.
My 1st image of LFI – Gallery selection
In last week, I went from Kyoto into Himi in Toyama in Hokuriku region as business travel. But I would like to take photo before I start to work. So I became early bird, waking up at 4:00 am to go to Amaharashi Coast. Then yesterday I received follow E-mail from LFI editorial team. It is 1st time for me that there is my photo in LFI Selection Page. This time it is in ASIA | AUSTRALIA | OCEANIA.
Symbol of recovery
I was born in Hokuriku, Japan. The mind of the local people and architectures were collapsed by the great Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Jan 1st 2024. Quite severe damage. But local people are bravely and perseveringly trying to recover gradually and gradually. Fortunately Woman Rock in Toyama in the region survived. So I personally regard this elegantly shaped rock as Venus, the symbol of recovery by tough and strong people in my native region, Hokuriku.
Another shot
Here is another shot, I took in last week at Amaharashi coast.
