Enjoy daily sweets
My wife and I are living in Kyoto. And she frequently goes to Takashimaya Department Store (京都高島屋百貨店) in Kawaramachi. The nice thing is that this Japan’s major department store collect and supply quite wide variety of local sweets around the Japan. Each city ( or village) of each prefecture in Japan has unique local souvenir concept.
Today I would like to show the nice JP sweets from Nagano (長野).
Pleasant lemon flavor
The lemon cake from Shinshu (信州). This Shinshu Lemon Cake ( 信州檸檬ケーキ ) is made by the local cake shop, Hanaoka ( 御菓子処花岡 ) , in Nagano prefecture, founded in 1912.
